The Viola Ceramic Vase by Leti Ceramics is a handmade sculptural ceramic vase that combines expressive portraiture with vivid floral decoration and luminous gold accents.
The elongated male figure wears a richly decorated jacket covered with pansy-inspired flowers in blue, violet, yellow and orange. Reflective gold details run through the composition, while a deep blue tie and floral earrings complete the look, giving the vase a refined yet playful character.
Made to order and finished by hand, Viola works both as a functional flower vase and as a standalone ceramic art object.
Floral Sculptural Detail
The defining motif of Viola is the abundance of hand-painted pansy flowers.
Large blossoms spread across the jacket, while smaller floral earrings echo the same palette around the face. The elongated proportions, expressive eyes and curled moustache bring a sculptural quality to the portrait and create a distinctive silhouette.
Because each vase is made and decorated by hand, subtle variations in form, colour and painted detail make every piece unique.
Colour & Glaze
Viola combines cobalt blue, violet, yellow, orange and reflective gold.
The glossy hand-applied glaze enhances the depth of the floral decoration, while metallic gold areas catch the light and give the surface a rich, luminous quality. The blue tie adds a strong central accent and balances the multicoloured flowers.
