A Surreal Pause in Leopard Print
The Siesta Ceramic Vase by Leti Ceramics is a handmade sculptural ceramic vase that combines an expressive portrait with bold animal print and playful surrealist detail.
The elongated male figure wears a vivid leopard-patterned jacket, crisp white shirt and glossy black tie. Small golden decorative accents near the moustache add an unexpected touch, giving the piece a witty and distinctive personality.
Made to order and finished by hand, Siesta works both as a functional flower vase and as a standalone ceramic art object.
Sculptural Character
Siesta is defined by its elongated proportions, expressive wide-eyed portrait and exaggerated moustache.
The contrast between the formal shirt and tie and the bold leopard print gives the piece an eccentric, slightly theatrical character. Small sculptural details around the face add another layer of personality without overwhelming the composition.
Because every vase is made by hand, subtle variations in form, colour and painted detail make each piece individual.
Colour & Glaze
The vase combines warm ochre, black, ivory and golden tones.
The glossy glaze enhances the sculptural contours of the face and creates depth across the leopard pattern. Dark details in the tie and hair provide contrast, while the warm animal print gives the piece a rich, decorative presence.
