The Sweet Dreams Ceramic Vase from the Magritte Collection by Leti Ceramics is a handmade sculptural vase that transforms Magritte’s formal bowler-hatted figure into a whimsical celebration of colour and imagination.
A glossy violet bauble conceals the face, suspended beneath an oversized red bow. The black jacket is decorated with colourful sweets, wrapped candies and dessert-inspired motifs, creating a playful surface filled with small details to discover.
Hand-formed in semi-porcelain and painted entirely by hand, Sweet Dreams works as both a functional flower vase and a collectible ceramic art object.
Form & Playful Concealment
The upright figure and glossy black bowler hat establish a formal portrait, while the bow and spherical ornament introduce theatricality and festive humour.
From the front, the violet bauble becomes the centre of the composition. From other angles, the facial features, hat brim and miniature painted decorations become more visible.
